About Us
after10 is a compassionate and community-driven NGO based in New Barrackpur, founded during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Born out of a deep sense of responsibility towards those affected by the crisis, after10 has since become a beacon of hope for countless families in need.
During the pandemic, the NGO set up a community kitchen that provided free meals to over 300 families, ensuring no one in the area went to bed hungry. In addition to addressing immediate food needs, after10 also helped students by distributing free study materials, enabling them to continue their education despite the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
Understanding the economic strain on families, after10 organized free vegetable markets, offering essential groceries at no cost to ensure that families had access to healthy food during tough times. When the destructive impact of Cyclone Amphan struck, after10 swiftly acted, distributing relief materials to affected families, alleviating their suffering in the aftermath of the natural disaster.
after10’s commitment to health and wellbeing was also evident in its provision of free doctor consultations and the supply of essential medicines. To support the community’s medical needs further, the NGO facilitated a fare-price ambulance service and a hearse van service, ensuring families had access to transportation during emergencies.
To nurture the creative potential of children, after10 organizes drawing competitions that encourage children to paint their dreams and express themselves through art. These events provide a platform for young talents to shine and help build their confidence.
True to its mission of empowering those in need, after10 also offers free education to underprivileged students, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to build a better future.
